About the event
Thai food has taken the UK by storm over the past 15 years with dishes such as Thai Green Curry and Pad Thai fast becoming national favourites. More often than not the dishes served up in restaurants up and down the country are a poor example of those you will find on any Thai street !
My 'Learn To Cook Thai' class will teach you how to prepare and cook these wonderful Thai dishes from scratch at your own individual work station by following me with step by step instruction. At the end of the class enjoy your own cooked 2 course meal together with the other students or alternatively take your meal home with you to share with family and friends.
The class includes the following:
- A welcome drink and limitless refreshments during the class
- All cooking equipment and ingredients
SKILL LEVEL
- The course is suitable for everyone from basic cooking skills upwards.

- Understanding Asian spices and how to combine to make spice pastes
- How to balance flavours

allergies.
Suitable for vegans, vegetarians ( Thai Green Curry will changed to Vegetable curry and Chicken Pad Thai will changed to Tofu )

During the Learn To Cook Thai class we will make the following dishes:
Pad Thai ( Chicken, or Tofu for Vegetarian / Vegan Option)
Learn how to make this popular Thai street food dish from scratch which consists of stir fried rice noodles with chicken breast / Tofu , topped with nuts, spring onion and fresh crunchy beansprouts.
Thai Green Curry with Fragrant Jasmine Rice
A genuine Thai Green Curry should be light and fragrant with a good kick of spice. Learn how to cook this wonderful dish by understanding how to blend together the correct ingredients for the spice paste which you will then use to make the dish garnished with freshly chopped coriander and thinly sliced chilli.
